Assessment and remediation are kept separate

Under section 468.8419, Florida Statutes, a person may not perform or offer to perform mold remediation on a structure where the mold assessor or the assessor's company provided a mold assessment within the last 12 months, and a remediator may not assess a structure they or their company remediated in that period. The rule doesn't apply to certified Division I contractors (general, building and residential contractors).
